We got there at around 15:30, and they told us 15:00 -17:00 is their break time. Which apparently is not true according to the sign they posted.
The black pepper sauce is good but their steaks are just okay. I think Cowboy cafe is a little bit more expensive but steaks are better. Overall this place isn't bad but it's pretty average.
Friendly staff and Jay Chou music videos playing. (Day after Jay Chou Vegas concert)Popcorn chicken on point. Fried tofu super crispy. Will try a steak lunch next time.
The soup of the bowl of noodle we had here was amazing!!
Excellent food. Food arrived quickly after ordering. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely go back.
This place reminds me of an old school restaurant in 626 called "Romantic Steakhouse." When I shared it on my social media stories, people were making the same comments. The garlic bread, sizzling plated steak with pasta on the side, creamy soup and lettuce with Thousand Island dressing. Nostalgic.I've had the seafood plate and the rib-eye plate. Both are very good, but the steak was cooking a little to well done since it's still cooking on the sizzling plate. I prefer the mushroom sauce over the black pepper. I was impressed at how good the braised beef noodle soup was. Looks like a very clean broth. The noodles are generic, but I didn't mind it too much. I would skip the shrimp chow mein. Nothing wrong with it, it was just too basic and the noodles all seemed like it was cut short or broken strands. You can add a selected tea beverage for $1.50 with your entree. Service is a bit on the slower side. But it doesn't stop me from coming back.
Very tasty Taiwanese style steak
Clean , small intimate setting , great aromas coming out out the kitchen. The stewed lamb and noodles are tender, so aromatic, and hearty. Big portion too.
Food is great, authentic Taiwanese flavor!
The customer service is very kind, the food is delicious and cheap, and the wait time is very short.
We like a lot eating out. Last night we visited this fine restaurant which we didn’t know before. We had a delightful experience there with fine food and an efficient team and a professional cuisine. We put this venue in our phone list and we shall no doubt come back soon. Highly recommended.
Steak on hot plate. Big portion. Price is fair.
It seems like a fairly authentic Taiwanese dining experience. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. Service was at times great, and at times a bit slow. If the food were delicious I'd give an extra star but it was just good. Perhaps I'll try again with different menu items since the steak platter was not my favorite, but the pork stew was good.
Trying to recreate the steak and spaghetti you can get in Taiwan night and day markets.. Good taste..
Ordered the filet with shrimp, with black pepper sauce and it was great. The fliet was tender and the sauce was very flavorful. The meal also comes with cream corn soup, which is more cream than anything. The salad comes with 1000 island dressing and is a little watery for my taste, the garlic bread was good. Prices are fair and you won't leave hungry.
I ordered the popcorn chicken and a soda it was nice on a hot day
Best place to have Taiwanese hot plate steak!!!! This is the closest you can get if you miss the hot plate steak in Taiwan! The fish fillet is really good, they dip the fish into the egg yolk before cooking so there is a thin layer of fried eye on the fish fillet! Super tasty!!!!!
Their steak taste really familiar as Taiwan night market steak. Delicious. But the environment I hope can be much more cleaner~
One of my favorite places to get chicken steak with black pepper sauce so delicious!
Stewed lamb noodles were a great meal for under $10, great for gathering with friends
